MISSION
To promote, gather, and deliver the voice of Kauai to the proper State and Local officials who make decisions on behalf of the people of KAUAI.
www.voiceofkauai.com was created for anyone who loves KAUAI and feels it is a very unique and special place. It’s for people who have concerns about important issues facing KAUAI and want to voice their opinions and be heard.
Vote and make comments concerning critical issues facing KAUAI today. Periodically, a summary of each topic’s comments & voting results will be gathered. Following this process, results are forwarded to each County and/or State official connected with each issue. Our polls are not scientific, they are simple and to the point! Best of all, they are created by YOU.
Let’s keep our cools, and maintain the peace. There is a fine line to follow here, and if we want to get anywhere as a community we need to choose our battles carefully while approaching them with determination and the monstrous strength of unity.

I hope that you will publicize the prevailing attitude of hunters towards their dogs.Steven Cummings is only one of many that routinely mistreats, starves and ignores their animals. Dogs left out on the trail, dogs fed only rice or nothing so they are hungry for a pig kill, multiple dogs housed in tiny cages without water, without exercise, without cleaning of the feces. This is Kauai’s dirty secret and it needs to be exposed, reported and dealt with regularily and immediately.
